I agree punk IS done for. As for 70's-80's punk bands that are better than the sex pistols and exploited. To name a few, Cock Sparrer, Stiff Little Fingers, The Cirlce Jerks, Fear, MDC, Crass, Black Flag, Scrreching Weasel, The Business, Sham 69, The Vibrators, Slaughter and the dogs, Toxic Narcotic, and Discharge. The main reason that the sex pistols are like blink and Good charlotte is that their music sounds the same. Good Charlotte just has better production. The second reason is they both think they are anarchists, but really they're both major label moneymaking tools capitalizing of the success of The Ramones/GreenDay to turn a massive profit. |

The thing you people don't realize when you talk about street punk is that you aren't street punks. I'm not either. Real street punks live on the street. That's why street punk was made, because you had a whole bunch of homeless punks who were just pissed at everyone and everything. Music like this was made for them. I like street punk and I like this song, but unlike a lot of music street punk is mostly a way of life as opposed to mostly music. That's what important role the Casualties play in the punk scene. They are the definitive street punk band. |

Wow...they are....almost exactly the same. I can't believe I didn't notice that before. I don't think senses fails lyrics are bad. Not my favorite I think other bands do a better job but they are fun songs, even if I do like my music a little heavier. |

They have lyrics like "go get yourself a club and beat down a lousy jew".
