i don't know if this is just a different version, but in the one i have there's an extra verse towards the end: but the driveway's clear you pray for silence step into my quiet violence she smiles taking off her shirt standing still, this world moves faster i'm gonna bet my next disaster you're gonna get what you deserve |

| god way to be really ignorant apple shampoo. just look at the lyrics of some of those songs...they're amazing and deep and beautiful, and actually capture so perfectly the feelings of a lot of people. a song doesn't have to be on mtv or the radio to be good. get a life man | |

| how can this song have no comments? it's so beautiful...i was at a movie and i heard this song in one of the previews and have listened to it nonstop since. this song is so beautiful...i'm not sure what it means but "there's beauty in the breakdown" is such an amazing line. could be talking about the aspect of beauty in human grief/pain...maybe not exactly beauty but something else that i can't exactly put words to... | |

although i'd have to say disctrict sleeps alone tonight is my favorite, this song is probably second. obviously theyve experienced the pain of a relationship going wrong and know how much it hurts to 1) be rejected by the one you love and 2) want more than anything to go back to a relationship but know that you can't i don't think that making the charts or being on mtv necessarily spoils a band or makes them a sellout, its just when they start to change their music to please their fans that's the problem. and unfortunately, it happens all too often. |
