What's with all the jesus stuff? It's incredibly improbable, given that (1) I've only ever heard Americans talk about the rapture, (2) Swedes, like other scandics, tend to be atheists/agnostics, and christians are clearly in the minority, and (3) /it's a metal band/. Moreover, a /scandinavian metal band/. When scandinavian metal bands start singing about god and jesus, it's usually about how they're going to have surprise buttsecks with them, or other wholesome activities. As for Ddadutta ... what, you expected metal lyrics to be serious? :-P |

Not a Final Fantasy reference. It's the opposition to the Qliphoth, mentioned in other songs. Kabbalah stuff. Then again, they could be avid gamers and the kabbalah references just to cover it up a bit. :) |

At first sight, seems some s got turned into s. Should most likely be "du er redd når jeg er nær" (tedd is not a word!), and "min sorg er større enn ord". That is, as it stands, it says, "my sorrow a greater than words" in stead of "my sorrow is greater than words". "allt" should be "alt"--this is Norwegian, not Swedish. ;) Not that I know if this will help, does songmeanings even have a correction feature? :O |
