Ahhh yes, Long Beach Short Bus...I had no clue they existed until one day I was hanging out at the beach and I walked into Kane's night club and heard that a band with the remaining members of Sublime was playing...I was in shock but i stayed to watch from outside and they are really good. And badfish64 you are right, Heroin was too strong and it won the fight for Brad's life...its a really sad thing...RIP Brad. |

to xurfavoriteweaponx, i agree with incubus421 about 40oz. being their best album, but if you havent really heard much of sublime, or you arent into reggae/ska yet, buy their self titled cd becuase most new sublime fans love it. you will probably like that one so much you will want to buy another, so then get 40 oz. sorry incubus, im not saying that second hand smoke is bad or anything...it kicks ass, but its their worst cd. |

Anyone who thinks this song is about Kurt's stomach problems is correct. In the Cobain journals it says that he had an unidentified stomach problem that constantly caused him pain. The lines saying "I'm on warm milk and laxatives Cherry-flavored antacids" are about how he would go to see doctors but they would just give him laxatives and antacids, even though they did absolutely nothing. Also, it is about his overall depressed state as a rock star. The line "Im anemic royalty" is saying that he is
"royalty" because everyone worships him as a famous musician, but he is depressed and addicted to heroin and of course has his stomach problem. |
