This is a kick-ass song. If you don't like drugs, keep it the fuck to yourself. Trent has done drugs.. "Oh shit.. really?" Yeah, really. Read a little bit. He's not hard into them, but he's done them. And YES, the trippy ones! Chill the fuck out. |

In reference to how nysirk can't unerstand how the video doesn't go with the song... It's a thing called common sense sweetheart. No offense ment at all by that last comment. :)
Anyway,The video shows a man making himself a carifice to the "Great big broken machiene". He sits in the chair, it pokes and prods him, giving him sexual pleasure. Since the chair had arm and leg bands that hold him in place, it represents slavery. His feelings of extacy represent the happiness. However, the machiene begins to hurt him. (The smashing of the balls, for one..) Then he is turned into mashed up bits of man, and is fed to the Pot plants. The video ends with Trent coming into the room. Too bad we didn't get to see him naked... Ahh well. If we did, that would ruin my imagination... better get off that subject.. |

Personally, I love this song. It has many different meanings to me. First of all, Smoke, I applaud you. That was a very good description of the song. However, I don't nessicarily agree with it. For those of you who have seen the video, as you've probably noticed, the girl in it, is a chid. Makes you think a bit, doesn't it? In one part of the video, you can see her legs sticking out from behind this big rock thing. That's suppoed to be her death. I think the song is basically about how he lost the only person that understood him.
Now, on the underhand.. maybe he din't lose her. He's just telling how he feels. We all know Trent is good with his feelings. As far as the "I've got my head but my head is unravelling, can't keep control, can't keep track of where I'm travelling" That's an obvious reference to the Absinthe he's f*cked up on. If you haven't seen the video.. you need to see it. If Trent makes a video, he obviously wants it to reflect on the song. So, yeah, I totally recommend it. |
