Though lilmomma69 came up with a valid point, I would have respected her more if she would have spelled simple words correctly. Nonetheless, I don't understand how "Wanna get dirrty, it's about time that I came to start the party, ooh sweat dripping over my body" is mind stimulating. I happen to like lyrics that give me a challenge to figure out (i. e. "Scatterbrain" by Radiohead). Read it and see if it gives you the same effect it gives me. Better yet, get the song. |

The song song in itself is amazing, but the video took a lot of imagination and mental agility. It turned out to be one of the best videos I have seen in a long time. |

I love the post-teenager angst that NIKKIE displays; sorry but it wasn't that long ago that you were a teenager. Although I do agree with the listen-to-what-you-like attitude, you seemed a little self-contradictory when you said, "...you all piss me off cause your little minds still label things and care about bullshit that doesnt matter", but then you turned around and said, "...you are a kid .. children love to complain about bullshit that doesnt concern them and then say ''i know what is good"... You are doing the exact same thing that you accuse teenagers of doing: labeling an age group and perpetuating stereotypes. I will be the first to admit that I hate Avril Lavigne with a passion. But to me, I don't think it's necessary to beat a dead horse and list on my fingers and toes what she does that isn't considered punk because it's redundant. I know that after you hit 20 it's a great feeling, but ease up on the teens here. We're still learning and I don't know, this is just me but, I think when I hit the big 2-1...I'd find something better to do than to belittle someone younger than me. |

I think any 311 song can have different effects on people, not just one particular song. I can get chills listening to numerous 311 songs, including "Eons". I think it's a little ridiculous to say that if one song out of many doesn't do something to you or for you, then you aren't worthy enough to be dubbed a fan. They speak to their fans in different songs, whether it be "Omaha Stylee" or "Eons". It's whatever sends you to a state of euphoria that makes a song special. |
