This song means alot to me because my BF told me it was excatly how he felt when he was in the Dominican Republic for 2weeks.
Its so amazing how Rufio can take the feelings of like love n longing and add the instruments and vocals and lyrics together to just make a really touching and great to listen to song. |

I think everyone interprets this song in different ways. For me....I live in Florida so when i went to go visit my grandmother in Colorado where i had never been..i missed my BF soo much. And the first night i had horrible nose bleeds, i was cold and things just sucked..but i that night i looked up into the sky and it was just blankets of stars everywhere. And lookin at all those beautiful stars was just like lookin into my bfs eyes. The mountains..the air the sky...it just all brings me to this song, Rufio is just brilliant! |

This song has just got all the emotions u feel ina relationship. Its like hes singing this song cause wants it to work sooo much but its not. He wants it more than she does. My god, this song made me cry so much when they performed here in Tampa n i saw em at the Lagwagon show. Like I can so relate to the feeling. U may not want to be with sumbody...but u do. Like uev got all these mized emotions and one minute ur hating them until u realize that what u had was brilliance and u dont want to let that brilliance go and just one of their memories. |

ANYWAYS, when i first heard this song...many many moons ago i remember thinkin that it was like "my friends" over u. Like he was singing about him self. Like u know how when if u have a crush on sum 1 ur like "my friend" wants to know how u feel about blah blah blah...I thought it made alot of sense that way. But when i finally i realized i was stupid and it wasnt "i still think 'my friends' over you" its still an awesome song and nfg just rocks out all the time! |

Oh dear guys...kazaa is bad news!! Rufio n YC have a distinctly different sound!! I just saw both in concert together with Lagwagon here in Tampa and they rocked out!! But yes, October Nights is most defiently Yellow Card, its on their "One For The Kids" cd. Id feel realllllli dumb if i posted these lyrics. lol. But do check out yellow card, they rock. And the best Rufio song has 2 be In My Eyes, so catchy! But be for warned...ppl who know almost nothing about pcs control Kazaa...and honestly...how much to u trust those ppl? |
