I love this song.. definitely one of my favourites. Too bad that it's so horribly scratched up on my CD that it goes really fast and skips. *sigh* I think the meaning's quite self-explanatory.. ;) and the image of the sky seeming smaller is beautiful. When we catch a glimpse the world, of what could be, home doesn't seem right anymore. |

I think it's more like "Quit moping and waiting around pointlessly - just get up and grab life." Broken is like.. having a broken heart. The broken clock, the outdated jukebox - metahpors for basically feeling unwanted. It is uplifting, but Great Big Sea has a lot of songs that are. I love this song. :) |
