Avril Lavigne – Don't Tell Me Lyrics 21 years ago
I will willingly admit this song is frigging catchy. I would feel better about listening to it if the lyrics weren't so cringe-worthy.

Also, I really don't like Avril herself. I couldn't care less about the whole "She's not really punk!" thing, but something about her just gets on my nerves. Bad vibes, or something.

Death Cab for Cutie – Expo '86 Lyrics 21 years ago
To me, this is about a relationship that becomes a cycle.. the pair run into a problem and fight and break up, but always know they'll keep coming back to each other. The guy is tired of going of the pain and sees it's all turning apathetic with the amount of work they have to put into it ("..by the time that I have figured what it's worth, the squeaking of our skin against the steel has gotten worse").

And the "Sometimes it seems that I don't have the skills to recollect" verse really gets me. I feel like I could have written this song...

Ozma – Baseball Lyrics 22 years ago
This is SUCH a good song.. very addicting. My favorite part is definately:

"Is our season over?
No four leaf clover
I feel it's getting colder
Now that it's late fall

But can you still remember?
April to November
You and I were members
Of the best team in baseball"

Jack Johnson – Bubble Toes Lyrics 22 years ago
I love this song. Perhaps because I, myself, have big, fat toes. Big, fat toes need love, too. Kudos to Jack for realizing this ;)
