Im pretty sure the line goes "flesh is heretic, my body is a witch... ...I am burning it... wake up for this switch." that would make more sense.... if the flesh is heretic, then you could classify oneself as a witch...and of course, they would burn witches back in the day... i belieive if one confessed the sin, theyd b burned anyways, but the spirit would make a transition to something godly rather than sinful, for you have been forgiven....hence the switch... therefore, with all the accumulated lyrics and corrections, i come up with: This box is lovely, that I made. Geez, how many of us had a girlfriend named Jen? My Jenn pulled a fast one on me. She broke up w/ me (in a note, mind you) without so much as a warning, then went out with an ex boyfriend. Week later tho, he got her pregnant. I felt sorry, but i was also amused by her stupid choices. So i listen to this song as my junior yr of HS comes to a close, and tho im long over her, i wonder if she ever did like me like she said she did. Ah well, who cares. Oops, the song. hey rossx, not tryin to put neone down here, but there are absolutely no trumpets in ltj. its only a trombone player and a tenor sax player. I believe the only song they use trumpets in is "We're All Dudes," also a kickass song by LTJ, from the "GoodBurger" soundtrack. Also, to answer cheeks' question, yes, ska usually has a horn section (i.e.- trumpets, trombones, saxes), and the guitarists usually play in peppy upbeats, like the oldtimie raggae bands. Some of todays best ska bands are Mad Caddies, Reel Big Fish, Bosstones, and especially LTJ. Dont wanna sound like a dictionary, but i want to shed deserved light on my favorite music. Oh, bout the song. I love it, i live my life by this song, as well as "The Mixology of Tom Collins." I dig metal, but not as much as i do ska-core. *Later Days* |
