This song is also on the sound track for "The Rivers Edge" with Crispin Glover and Keanu (sp?) Reeves. That soundtrack was my first introduction to Slayer back in like 1987. I recommend any Slayer fan pick it up, it has some stuff by them I havent seen anywhere else. |

He is saying "a cross ON your grave" Picture the graves at the Arlington Cemetery with the rows and rows of crosses. Funny how this song sat for 2 years and got 2 responses within 2 days. |

I love the bass line in this song. I have probibly been to 100 concerts in my life, and hearing this song live is still the highlight moment. While I think there were better metal bands, few ever wrote a better song. |

Another great thrash song. Alex Skolnik was the most underrated guitarist of this genre, and Testament as a band never got the publicity they deserved. Forget the mainstream bands, if you want to hear a great metal song listen to this one. |

This song is the epitome of late 1980s thrash. After a 2 decade reprive I have recently dusted off the old albums and started listening to them again. This whole album really kicks ass, but this song in particular reminds me why I loved exodus. |

This is tongue in cheek guttermouth at its best. Marks best lyrics arent as juvenile as Lipstick or 123 Slam, its songs like this that really show his genius.
Guttermouths younger fans may not appreciate it, but anybody can fart into a mic and call it funny, hopefully Guttermouth will realize that are better than that. |

This is my favorite guttermouth song. The lyrics sum up my feelings perfectly. I came from the dregs of society and have built myself into a respectable member of society. I dont want to hear any fucking excuses, if I can do it anybody can. All of these gladhand fucking republicans who want to give my money to some assclown who refuses to get a job can kiss my ass. |

If people dont like this song why are they reading the lyrics? Seems a little strange to me.
I just wish that the people who are going to stand up and say rap is a viable form of music would write and speak the english language correctly. Its hard to stand up and tell the world that you are not an idiot when you misspell (intentionally or not) every other word. |

This is the only song recorded after "Justice" that doesnt make me want to vomit. It has a couple of good changes, and Hammitt laid off the fucking Wah pedal for a second, reminds me of the good old days. |

I first downloaded this song off of Kazaa, and got a slightly different version. Its got a slightly poorer production, and a few words are different. I have not been able to find it again. I am guessing I got the Saran Gas version of the song the first time. |

I have been a drummer for 15 years and this song still blows my mind.
I think Les is questioning why he needs to follow laws that are set by people with different standards, and that dont make any sense to him. |

I think its funny the only real negative implication in the song is about the native born american. It kind gives a negative feeling to the whole song, but the first two verses speak to America being better than anywhere else despite its faults. Mabye its Les's way of saying we need to take care of our own. |

Jesus Christ its funny to see people who are still young enough to hate their parents are still listening to Metallica. I remember being in 9th grade waiting in line at 6:00 in the morning for this album to hit the shelves.
One day you will realize that for the most part parents only want whats best for their kids. Not all parents do it right, but most try. Be lucky if you can relate to parents who are trying to shelter you from the world, at least they care. Obviously you arent living on the street or starving since you have a fucking COMPUTER! Enough said. |
