The way I see this song, and maybe it's because of personal experience, is it's about someone who's totally, completely and utterly stupid over someone, so much in fact that they've become dependant on them ("I need you...") Then they want so badly for the relationship to work that they're willing to be 100% apologetic for incorrectly interpreting the other person's feelings toward them (doesn't it suck when that happens!?), hoping that maybe this will be what it takes to get them into a relationship with the other person. Ok, I'm done. |
