| The songs are alright, but I hafta say, just an opinion here... Even though I like the lyrics of some of their songs, they all are really basic. Nothing too thought provoking, just kind of elementary | |

FROM AN INTERVIEW............. Jesse: yeah, i originally wrote that song for my friend Peter. He's one of the only kids who really recognizes the way we, as well as all our friends, have changed in the last couple years. It's something we used to sit up and talk about all night. But also, about the time i was writing it i had just started seeing my girlfriend. And as it turned out i remember alot of people giving her alot shit for wanting to be with me. But it was only cause they were being spiteful, and old, and envious. Cause they are just boring people. That's where the last lines in the song came from. Those are my favorite. |

| Jesse: I think it's really cool when people can write from a fictional stand point. Unfortunately i can't do it at all. you could take any line from any song and i could probably tell you in detail what i was thinking about when i wrote it and then date and time it took place. It's more of a curse than anything. | |

STRAIGHT FROM THE SOURCE... (this is from a MTV interview / article)... "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows," hits the airwaves July 9. "The song's a little bit about regret," Lacey said. "How there can be problems in a relationship and they get ignored. And how that often ends up as a broken home or some kind of bad situation down the road. It's kind of something that if it wasn't overlooked in the first place, you can kind of get through it." A video for the song was shot earlier this month in Boston, exemplifying regret in the form of unresolved closure. After a severe car accident, a mortally wounded Lacey cannot depart for the next world until he knows the his girlfriend, also injured in the crash, is safe in this one. "The video is about death or losing someone and it's those moments that you kind of look back on your life and realize all the regrets that you had, and all the things you wish you could change," Lacey said. |
