When i first heard this song i was on a bus. i cried. i was speechless, had it on repeat all the way home, then didnt sleep most of the night, i just sat, listening...amazed...amazed that one simple song, written by someone else, could so fucking perfectly sum up my life, and my situation at that point in time...it was EXACTLY how i was thinking, EXACTLY how i was feeling...it was me, in there, in the song... now let me tell you, only VERY powerful music can do that...and Adema are very powerful artists... |

"things have never been so swell, i have never felt this well" is what a few other sources ive read, like 'Heavier Than Heaven'...and i always thought it was that, but i just listened again and im totally confused, it sounds like both what you have and what i heard, and many others too. Many people say Kurt is a god, a reluctant superstar etc etc...Kurt isnt a god, he was just the equivalent to Mozart in his day...musically involved...somewhat of a genius. That was Mozarts downfall, and it was Cobains downfall as well. Every move Cobain made was to gain the most from his career. Every step was calculated. There is evidence to suggest it was Courtney who killed Cobain, there is evidence, alot more evidence, to suggest it was suicide. Nomatter how many reasons you all think Coutney had to kill him, she loved him, and Kurt loved her so much back...she loved him. This song, its Cobains way of an autobiography. At least thats how i like to look at it. Cynicism was one of the only ways he could get back at things in his life that he didnt like. its basically him, summing up his life. i guess. 'FiveStoriesFalling' you have a very good point, but im not sure what to think anymore...all i know is that while he was alive, Kurt Cobain did what he did best, write music, and he did it so well that his albums are still selling, his face has been on several magazines, even this year. Hit Parader did a memorial issue, people are writing books on him and he is an example and influence on many musical outfits today. A role model, to some its his death, to most, its his life that we remember. He lives on in his music, leave his memory be, stop plaguing the memory with crap about him. He was human, you are human, i am human...theres not much more any of us could do or say... R.I.P KURT COBAIN... |
