well the first time that i heard this song...i thought it was about a girl..Aurora...who had broke this guys heart and then started dating his best friend ("You have to be the cutest gravedigger I've ever seen.") ...the guy hated the girl for dating his best friend ("Fuck you Aurora, You took my only friend.") ...he then became an alcoholic or just started drinking on a regular basis...hence ("And all your lonely nights in the city of lights are much like all these crowded bars I so often find my stupid self stumbling through.") As far as the "you'll never catch me behind the wheel of a Chrysler ever again....im not so sure...maybe just the idea that the Aurora is a car by Chrysler...and the guy doesnt want anything to remind him of her....i was told that this song relates to my ex-boyfriend...thats why i think it means what it does...i dont know... |
