I 100% completely agree with thirdnobletruth. They aren't sell-outs AT ALL! I will just say that the ONLY thing about AFI being on the radio that bothers me, is when people like my stupid fukin brother come home after only hearing "girls not grey" and prace around like they've been listening to them for years. My brother listens to like, nothing, but what's on The Edge (a popular radio station where I'm from) and what's on MTV. It's totally fukin repulsive. I can't say that I've been a fan of AFI since the very beginning. I've been a fan maybe two years now. I've seen them live 4 times. But I Can say that I listen to their music for what it is, not how much popularity I can gain from it. My personal opinion about AFI is that they are AMAZING song writers, they are GODS at playing their instruments, they put on a kick ass live performance, and they're truely in this business BECUZ OF THE MUSIC. It's just not possible for a band like AFI to sell out. It's just not! I think everyone needs to stop whining about it. Like someone said before, each of their albums has been different from the previous one. AFI has taken their music to the next level. They are their own. They are original. I think "Sig the Sorrow" kicks ass. I probly wouldnt say it's my favorite album, but i also would NEVER say that it's a piece of shit. They put hard work and dedication into every bit of it. And if you are a true fan, you would be able to see that. -izzy PS: all the band members are fukin hot. i think jade is adorable :) |

I don't understand how no one could comment on this song. It's got to be one of their BEST! I've grown so attatched to this song. I love it! It's pretty self-explanatory so there's no need for me to try to interpret it. It seems odd that someone like me would appreciate this song so much. I'm always putting myself down and I get depressed pretty often. Recently, I even cut myself when my boyfriend broke up with me. I don't know if I did it for attention, but I did it. Anyway, this song kicks ass, so does AFI. I saw them in concert two days ago. I've seen them 4 times now and they never disappoint me. They're so amazing and Davey is fukin hot! (just thought I'd add that in there). -izzy |
