this song depresses me so much. but somehow it makes me happy. i'm not quite sure how conor does that to me, but he does. he knows how to give you just enough of something, without going completely overboard. if only i knew how to do the things he does. |

you can't just take someone's lyrics and sing them exactly the same as they do, and then change the name because you think it means something different when you sing them. that's just not right. |

oh man, i just downloaded the jason mraz version. it made me so sad. and not in the good, bright eyes inflicted kind of sad. the "oh my god, he disgraced such a wonderful song" kind of sad. I almost cried when he said "oh my darling, when you smile, it is like a song..." because that's my favorite line in the song, and one of my favorite lines in ANY song, ever. For some reason, I feel like Conor's the only one worthy to sing that line. |
