people can say what they want about how the lyrics aren't about anti-christ stuff, it's deeper. but come on. the lyrics say enough.
he's just saying how he doesn't understand why him, he never did anything wrong he just wanteda normal life but God didn't help him, wasn't their for him. I think this is a very powerful and meaningful song. It's not anti christ stuff however, simply asking God why him and why he never got any help,. |

thats pretty much how it goes. you wouldn't be able to tell totally from the verses but the chorus really shows it... the whole "Slide me to the side again

Its obvious what the meanings of the songs by AiC are, however i never really looked at it like chris did. thats pretty amazing and really opened my eyes to show how meaningful the songs are. at the point of writing this album, however, layne didn't regret taking drugs. it wasn't until the later albums that he actually experienced torture and regret. |

ummm it does kinda seem about nothing, but i'm almost positive it has a deeper meaning to it. The lyrics themselves don't have anything to do with the usual drugs and what not, but some of it seems like it means something. |
