The "turn me on Dead man" part makes perfect sense. In "A day in the life" it is Paul that says "I'd love to turn you on." (Don't believe me? Read the Beatles Anthology). If paul wants to turn you on, he is the dead man. Indeed. |

"The walrus was paul". Even though its supposedly about death, i would say that i think it's funny to see paul wearing a walrus suit. |

Hmm...i dunno about the drugs part. I heard somewhere that this was one of those Paul is dead clues (although if you thought about it anything could be). Supposedly paul died so the beatles "fixed a hole" by bringing in William Campbell. |

this is my favorite weezer song. I just like the lyrics and the fact that you can interpret it the way you want and still be right about it. |

i've been told a lot of things about this song. my dad told me that it was about drugs, so that was my first perception of the song. Some of my friend's dad's told me that it isn't, it's about a painting. I've seen pictures of the painting, and i've heard a lot of comments about the song (i read this forum, for one) and i still think it's about drugs. I don't want to sound like a drug-obsessed lunatic, but it makes a lot of since for it to be about drugs. The whole part about kaleidescope eyes and the girl dissappearing. All of the little images you conjure up when you hear the song seem to have to be about drugs. Also, LSD is a hallucenogenic (please pardon the spelling) drug, and it sounds to me that a lot of the stuff in the song is stuff you might see.
ok, that was just my little bit on this song. Thanks for listening. |

this is one of my favorite songs, mostly because of the sitar and the pretty lyrics. George is my favorite beatle, and since he has a big part in this song (not saying that he doesn't in other ones) i'm pretty much guaranteed to like it. |
