i think both have you may have misintrepreted that bit about the nun, a nun invoking the godess would actually be a nun going against all she belives, the very core of christianity itself, finding new faith... which seems to be alot of what the song is about, if you look at the video many images of the church appear at various places but are transformed or destroyed in some fasion. then again thats really only one aspect of the song, rarely do tori's song have only one meaning or message. |

When has a tool song ever really had just one meaning, but i'd like to thank harry for posting about his son, that put a whole new twist on the song for me, it think it really is about him on one level, but I belive maynard was also making parrallels to the conception and birth of our own spirituality, and perhaps the birht of his own spirituality. this song is so obviusly about birth, it seems a shame that so may people have associated it with death... |

it seems to me that its taking a tounge in cheak look at the human drive to be famous, he points out all the silly misconceptions of fame we have, but it remids us that its ok too, cuz its so human...
