Oh crap. I hate it when people think you have to have some sort of degree to listen to music. I used to have views slightly like that till I realised how much pish I was talking and grew up. To be frank I dont care where a song comes from and who listens to it, if I like it, I like it. Bullshit to this elitist "the band is MINE" pish. That means your music is part of your image and that your a sad bastard who will only listen to music if it fits in with your style, and you cant appreciate that sometimes people just like music, whether or not they are a "teenybopper" which is just a buzzword by the way, it's a stigma and a bullshit. You are way off duffman. And burnout56 you are right on. Kudos. Oh and anyone who thinks the music you listen, or how many albums youve got makes you a worthy person, really really needs to stop spewing shit out. |

I think it's basically about hating your friends - therefore HAVING to fakr your smile, and drinking a lot cos you, eh, hate your friends. Also maybe about having an "elite" group of friends and you can't get out of that situation and you know that although everyones always saying how much they love each other etc you knows it's fake. Also maybe about having friends because of the "scene" you are in and not because they are your real friends. thoughts anyone? |

This song really reminds me of someone I know especially "no one can appreiciate the poor Miss Understood" I reckon it's about people who think they're problems cannot be understood by anyone else, and that their problems give them some sort of depth, when really all it is is them keeping everyone at arms length. I think it's about people with an overblown sense of worth and massive persecution complex. That kind of attitude really doesnt sit well with me. I think lagwagon have some really good structured rants going on in their music. |
