To me it sounds like he's gotten himself into a situation (maybe a relationship) and he can't get out of it, but he feels bad, because he feels obligated to do what he's doing. Or, maybe something really bad happened to him and he's pretending to be ok and people are trying to pity him, but he doesn't want it. I also liked the reference to love. |

Well, first off, this song rules. Sing the Sorrow is my favorite album. I'm glad they change with every album. I think this song is just about how humanity is turning against eachother, not necessarily just in Iraq, but everywhere. It's kind of disgusting to think of what we "evolved" into. I think Davey tries to say that in this song. He has written stuff about how he hates humanity, I think that's what this song is about. Keyword is think, if anyone tries to bash me for saying that, then screw you, this board is open for interpretation, there's not just one right answer. |
