what happened to the our lady peace that we all know and love? ive tried to like this song...i really have. but the whole cd is just devoid of the uniqueness that is present in the earlier cd's. the lyrics are still moving, but not as much as they were. its like theyve toned down everything, especially the vocals. i dont like it. |

I meant to type Sid up there. And KaRi2791, maybe you should look at the story of Sid and Nancy. Yeah, Sid loved Nancy, she used him, and got him addicted to heroin. Do they sound a little similar? I'm not saying Courtney didn't love Kurt, or that Nancy didn't love Sid. I have no way of knowing this, I was either not born or too young to remember, but both Sid Vicious and Kurt Cobain had their futures severely altered by their drug-addled girlfriends. I admit, I shouldn't have called her a horrible person having not known her, but since when do you sit on your piety and put everyone else down? I only meant to make a comparison between the two couples, Kurt and Courtney and Sid and Nancy, no need to get anal retentive. And about your little "why isn't she in jail" remark, the guilty go free every day. The fact she isn't in jail means crap to the theory that she may have been involved in his death. You don't have the authority or the facts to dimiss it. I doubt you were there either. Kade, your description is awesome. |

i love the all american rejects. they played at fitzgeralds with skarred for life, and i stole "same girl, new songs" from my brother's cd case when he wasn't looking. i haven't been able to take it out of my cd player since. this is my favoriet song out of the five of them on the cd. do they have a new one out? |

ok--number one: they didnt even CONSULT johnny rotten to make sid&nancy, the movie's so skewed, and number two: in most of those songs sid wasnt even playing bass, it was glen matlock, and number three: sex pistols, despite sid and his faults (personally, i blame nancy), are the original punk rockers. and, everyone should read "ROTTEN: no irish no blacks no dogs", johnny rotten's book. its freakin awesome. |
