great song. the origional was definantly better. it proved a point through a bunch of metaphors and stuff. this one rocks too and hippypippypunkska just becuase you love a band doesnt mean you have to believe in everything they do. its fine that you do but it doesnt mean i love them any less becuase im not a vegan. people shouldnt do what their favorite band does just becuase its there favorite band. if thats what you want listen to pop! |

this song always makes me smile. i dont know why but it does... definantly gunna have to agree being depressed IS easier then hiding your feelings behind a smile.
i think the rain is a symbol for a new begining. it washes away all the mistakes you make kind of like the way it cleans the blacktop of all the chalk and mud. starting w. a clean slate type thing.

this is by far the most touching song and clapton is a lyrical genious. though i havent lost anyone close this song still has that gut wrenching effect that makes your very soul want to break down and cry. a guy that used to go to my school played this on the piano at his last concert it was so beautiful and i will never forget it. thanks for the memories brian. |
