man, one of the more fantastic masterpieces of the strokes. i do believe that its trying to say that things just seem so awesome and great when you dont have to grow up and you are a kid, but once you realize that you wont stay that way forever and you are growing up, that things change and people move on and you might separate. |

Anyways, this song rocks because it reminds me of an old time country folk song, but with the white stripes having done it, they put some of their own flavor into it. something else i love about this band is that they dont stick to one sound or image, and by doing that, no one can generalize their music |
