i thought he said, "sure gods all powerful, but does he have nuts?" lol, but maybe thats just me. This song is just a questioning of why god never helps him and so he is just getting more pissed off at god everyday. He is saying God is all powerful and never has to deal with the problems humans have and then God doesnt even help the most suffering. good song to listen to if you are questioning religion. |

Cliff was one of the greatest bassists of all time because he had a Unique style. I dont think cliff would want us insulting bassists that inspired him or insulting cliff and promoting other bassists who were inspired by cliff. Lets just give it a rest and say we will all miss him and that 186 was one of the best and worst years of all time.
p.s- Cliff Burton wasnt alive when To Live Is To Die was written. Jason was the one that worked on it, sadly. |

This song means alot to me because it can be taken in so many different perspectives and so it relates to many many people. The bass riff is great in this song. Jason Newsted was damn good whether u agree with me or not. |

james wrote this song for the kids. He needed the band to really relate to their younger crowd so he made dyers eve. This song also has the most unappreciated solo ever. Kirk plays with such grace and speed at the same time. I have heard every Metallica song there is and this is one of their greatest masterpieces. |
