| The Go Slow is one of my favourite tracks on Blackened Sky, the new album (the vertigo of bliss) is great too. Seeing them on Saturday at GameOn and saw them before when they supported Vex Red, they rock. | |

| the guitar solo is so cool, it's a great song all over too. The "cause you are the one" bit is followed up by a cool drum beat the kicks it back into the song too... mmm... nice | |

I think people need to chill out, read my message from earlier, it answers most of the satanist things. It's only a song guys, it's not sposed to be the most seriously taken thing, don't take the lyrics at face value. I like the music, and the singing and the words don't really mater, but I think "would you die tonight for love?" is a pretty nice lyric anyway, just talkin about whether they are willing to give it all for their relationship. |

Nah, the him that forced them to changed their name to HER in the states are some crappy chicago jazz band or sumthing, who insist that HIM are the "evil him" because their name stood for wat it did. However, when Valo says the name "his infernal majesty" was a whole different band he might have meant the original incarnation of HIM before they changed half the members of the band. I hope that message made sense and didn't just say the word him in it too many times... |

| HIM did stand for His Infernal Majesty, but Valo says that they abandoned that because combined with thew Scandinavian origin ppl thought the band were devil worshippers, and this attracted the wrong crowd. So they just use the title HIM with no deeper meaning now | |

First of all, about the song... yes, it is a very good song and now to Anni's comments.. I am a Christian and so I don't like it when an artist uses an "antiChrist" gimmick to put forward their image, for example I do not like Marilyn Manson because a majority of his songs have such content and he just seeks to offend, which I think is stupid. HIM however, any religious issues they have are very much in the background compared to the "love metal" which dominates their songs. The Heartagram is like a Yin Yang symbol in my opinion, shows good and evil. And a quote from HIM's official website states the following about the "His Infernal Majesty" title: Ville: "The name His Infernal Majesty was intended as a joke. But people thought, because of our name and the fact that we're from Scandinavia, that we were Satan worshippers! And that of course totally attracted the wrong crowd, so we decided to use the name HIM." HIM obviously felt strongly that they shouldn't be seen as Satanists and therefore now use the name in a form which has no deeper meaning. Whether u choose to believe it's some sort of secret cover up to make money is ur choice, but I think they coulda made just as much with the old name, as that sort of thing is "cool" (see bands like Slipknot with their goat references and heretic anthems). So I don't believe HIM are a satanist band, maybe atheist, but so are a lot of ppl and that can't be helped as society is for whatever reason getting less religious. So try to ignore any hints of evil that HIM may portray because mostly their songs are good and worth listening too and shudn't be spoilt by worrying about what Ville Valo thinks about Religion and life.
