iguessimbadnews, i think ur trying too hard to define love, which is too complex to explain. in truth, i think love is just a matter of companionship and bonding. you can love people and not be "in love", people get those two mixed up. "in love" is infatuation, "loving" is a much stronger thing. love is real, its just that our feelings arent. we always want what we cant have, for instance, u get a girl, treat her like shit, u break up and then dont go out with anyone for a while after that until finally u start to wish u still had the girl u loved last but she doesnt want u back. this drives u insane and the regret takes over u. but really, its just what we cant have or what we lost, which is really just a crush. what can u do? my advice: fuck it, fuck going after the girl, fuck sitting around in ur bedroom with regrets and/or wants and instead go have funs with ur friends, the people u DO love. while ur having fun with friends, u never know if u might just meet another special girl while ur out with them having fun. just live life happily and let music be ur therapy. listen to promise ring if u want to be cheered up. |

i agree with thedood, get over yourselves, quit crying about every little issue you have with a girl or a guy, this shit just gets you in such a horrible depressing rut that you overlook the good things in life, you forget about your friends that support you and again, i agree with dood, cuz u are somehow a bit selfabsorbed by ignoring them for that person who doesnt like you. even if u arent ignoring them, then youre prolly complaining to them and that has to be annoying so props to them for putting up with that and STILL standing by you. why do u people want a girlfriend or boyfriend so badly? what will it accomplish? are u so desperate to get laid that u get this way? are u in need of affection? what the hell is it that makes u so pissy and defensive and sad? friends and family are there but u blow them off to go sit and ur room and cry to that stolen photograph of the girl/guy u want and a doll you made out of his/her hair. just smile and appreciatte life. i know im gonna get trashed for this but i sicka seeing so many fucking sad bitches. just listen to the music, roll down the car windows, and smile. trust me, you'll be much better off.

variant, i agree with you man. great song by alk3, not too great comp, it kinda sounded the same. sideonedummy and atticus just tricked everyone into making them think its a good comp by opening with such a kickass intro by alk3. the rest of the stuff wasnt great, it was just mediocre. but who the fuck cares what i think, ya know? have fun liking the comp or have fun hating it. |

this was the first alk3 song i ever heard, made a lasting impression on me cuz now theyre my favorite band. it also made me shape up and realize not to take things so seriously and now im one of the happiest kids around. the song isnt necessarily uplifting but more... eyewidening and thought provoking. the lyrics are just fucking perfect, no more can be said about them exception matt skiba is a genius. thanks to mr chainsaw, im happy about growing up. |

this song is friggin awesome. i have no clue what he's talking about, maybe a picture he took but if i try to explain what i think either guy is saying in either part of the song, i would just make myself look more stupid. the guys voice is just amazing and so is the guitarwork. this song is perfect |
