I like this song quite a bit more than Satelitte. DMB's old producer, Steve Lillywhite, found it fit to change the title from "After Her," to "Satellite," because he felt that it wasn't catchy enough. |

Was Chris Hani direct friends with Dave? I knew the song was aobut the assassinated anti-apartheid leader, but I never knew that Dave and Chris were good friends. Maybe I just missed out on somehting. Too bad Glen Ballard had to come along and ruin this song by turning it into "Everyday." IT had so much potential as it was. I will always accept this as the "real" Everyday, not that junk Ballard produced. |

this song is okay... it is a lot better when it is played acoutic by just dave. i think that everyday might have been a little better if dave would have written the material himself, without any help from glen ballard. i have t oadmit though they did some okay work though. i still have to say the LWS is and BS will be better than this album...BS far better. |

Geeze this reminds me of a situation that my friend had with a girl. Everyday he would ask me how he could start a conversation with this girl. I just told him to cut loose, just like he was tlaking to me. He claimed that he could never really show his real self, telling the girl what he was really interested in and all. He finally did cut loose and showed his real self and actually went on a date with the girl. :o) |

This song reminds me of what I'm feeling like now. Sort of being down in the dumps, and I mean down in the dumps. Nothing can go right, and everyday turns out to be worse that the last. There has just been so much going on this past year for me. I guess this song reminds me that someday everything will be better, and there is always something to look forward to. |

I think this song means wanting to love someone, and you actually get the chance to(love that one person that you always picture, maybe the person you know exists). You can only love this person for a short time though, and you eventually have to say goodbye to this person. |
