At first I thought no way but then I listened to it again and it almost made sense. But would Pete Francis make a song about lying in bed with a corpse? I don't know. Maybe their love is dead and that's why he says that "She left only her body for me" in the way that she's still there physically but emotionally she doesn't care anymore.
Like all Dispatch songs the lyrics are so darn ambigous it's hard to find out what they were actually thinking when they wrote it. |

This song is awesome. I had the privilege of seeing Paul Colman in concert at Purple Door, they were by far the best group there in my opinion. It's a shame that more people don't know about them. They are definetly a band that performs for Jesus and write songs that come from the heart. Rock on guys. |

I love this song and my friends make fun of me for it. I just love the guy's voice when he says "Coffe and TV" it's sweet. This song also has a guitar solo that is awful but great at the same time. Weird. The video is also very sweet. |

Just my opinion, this discussion has really degenerated. I think that if they guys from Dispatch read this they wouldn't be too happy that people have resorted to name calling and mudslinging to get their opinion across, which by the way is only THEIR opinion, you can't just say "ok bottom line, I'm right about everything", you didn't write the song. Everyone just chill out and start listening and to and respecting each other. |

I'm not sure but I think at least part of this is about how in our society we train ourselves to stay superficial in our conversations and not talk about what is really on our mind ("keep it locked up inside, don't talk about it, talk about the weather") I really like this song because it addresses something that bothers me in everyday life. |

I have a couple of things to say about this song. I don't think this song is ant-religion/pro-religion. I am personally a very religous person. I don't think that this song is about Jesus, but if others want to discuss similarities you shouldn't jump down their throats and start bashing Christianity. i will admit that religion has caused wars and is still causing wars but it is also the source of strong character and happiness for many people. Don't tell someone that what they believe in is stupid just because you disagree with what they believe in.
By the way I love this song, I agree that it's a shame that so many people end their listening experience with this song and think that it's the best the band has to offer, there's alot of different kinds of songs out there that are also by Dispatch. |

I hate to say this because I love Dispatch, but I don't like this song. It's repetitive and not nearly as redeeming musically or lyrically as their other songs. |
