i feel what both of you are sayen. and i can relate to this song b/c i know (as a fellow punk) i have been rejected b/c i am the unknown. and i even tried to "fit in" once. it didnt work. so i made some friends that were like me. and its all good now. but i still get a lil deppressed and mad when i remember being rejected b/c, as the line "The knife that did me in I carry to this day " says,it always will be with you and it will never go away. katie |

all i can say is wow. you can believe in what ever you want, but i think this song is about him missing his old life and looking on his new life (rockstar), likeing it, but thinking that his old life was more fun. hes remembering all the fun they had. this song reminds me of all the good times im haveing. most of the things he is describeing im his song (All the nights we stayed up talking and listening to 80's songs; quoting lines from all those movies that we love, Breaking into hotel swimming pools, and wreaking havoc on our world.

Cherry cokes under this moonlight summer sky) i do all those things, and when i think life cant get any worse i just think of this song and it reminds me that im still growing up and growing up is funner than being grown right? so useually i get up and go to my local punk rock show thats ALWAYS going.
