| Nightwish – Master Passion Greed Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Yeah, Tuomas is a bit pissed off. JUST a bit. It's really a relatively violent song for Nightwish. Tuomas pretty much blames Cabuli for everything, on and off the mic, that happened to Tarja, and this song's making it perfectly clear -exactly- where he stands, while still being poetic. A good combination with Bye Bye Beautiful. One as a final word, a final goodbye, and one as a screaming "Fuck you" to the sky. It's my second-favorite on Dark Passion Play. |

The pure aggression and power of this song lends much to its beauty. I first heard it on the radio, so I am a little behind, but I downloaded it later that night. This song is absolutely awesome. It is raw as hell, it's just out there and ready to take control. It's quite a song. Besides, it provides good role-play music. |

| Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody Lyrics | 22 years ago |

...Just so you know, lipgloss, yelling out like that and trying to make yourself look more high and mighty than any other human on the planet only solidifies your place as a complete and total buffoon. If you are still angry about something that happened over 50 years ago, then you, my friend, need a life. Hopefully whatever God you worship will show you mercy at your gates; however, when you seem so solidified with an evil dictatorship as you are, then I doubt any mercy shall be given. Fare thee well. |

| Kenna – War In Me Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| This song got me through a hard time recently. I had a serious relationship problem, and this song helped me realize that I wasn't alone in the world. It's one of my favorites for that. I think this may be one of those songs that you never forget. | |
| Linkin Park – Super Xero (Demo) Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| Great song. I do like it. I wonder, was this done while they were Hybrid Theory, or while they were Xero? Or is this an actual LP song? Could someone clarify? | |
| Linkin Park – Faint Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| The thing is, Linkin Park has completely dropped the preppy, popular sound and created their own music. That is what most don't like; there's no "In The End" like song on the album, like there was in Hybrid. The song is a different sound. And the big Linkin Park "fans" who heard "In The End" and began worshipping them from that song are the ones that hate this. The people like me, who heard Linkin Park almsot a year before, when the legendary "One Step Closer" (track 2, for all who skipped completely over the entire CD and only listened to In The End) came out, those are the ones that can usually appreciate good music. "Faint" is truly awesome. I can not see why anyone would say otherwise. | |

Hey, don't worry about it. I'm not angry. But I do agree. You can not call yourself a real Queen fan if your only experience with it is fifteen seconds of Mike Meyers headbanging in a car. That is just disrespectful to real Queen fans, to the memory of Freddie Mercury, and to music in general. Sure, Bohemian Rhapsody is an awesome song, and it makes for a good song to freak people out with on the road. However, I am not so arrogant as to blindly say that this is, without a doubt, the best Queen song ever, when I have not even heard 1/20th of their music. So I am a causal fan. Nothing wrong with that. And you are right, music has degraded somewhat, but everybody has their moments. In fact, I like Linkin Park because I can relate, and unlike most of the preppy idiots who put them on repeat for so long it drives me insane, I heard their music long before many others. Therefore, I have a right to enjoy them. But in general, yes, today's music is crap. There's hope, though. The metal revolution will florish. One day... I hope... |

Well, it's to be expected. Those are the songs playing on the radio: one would figure that those would be the songs a person would know. I do not have the money to get a CD right now, and I have a 28 K modem, so I can not download entire albums in a sitting. Therefore, all my experience with Queen is through my radio experiences. I am not about to call myself a hardcore fan, but I like Queen. What I have heard of Queen, that is. That does not make me a sheep, it just makes me somewhat uneducated in the subject. Either way, it makes little difference. Also, in response to WoahNightfall (all the way up there, bear with me, I did read every post), the AIDS epidemic was diagnosed, and research began, in 1980, as an indirect result of the ebola outbreak in Africa in 1979. The disease was first known as GRID, or Gay-Related Immuno Disease, but protests changed the name. For that matter, the first diagnosed case was not in America. It was in France, in 1980, as I said. Unlike most others, I will divulge the source of my information: "And the Band Plays On." An HBO documentary-movie. Quite educational. Either way, if the first diagnosed case was in 1980, and the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" was written in 1975, then it is feasibly impossible that Mercury could have written it about AIDS. I personally just enjoy the song. That is all. It is a great song, and I do not try to dive into it. I take it at face-value. It's an entertainment song, a story song, like "Hotel California." Do not be so concerned. |
