If Dave is talking about any kind of drug, it is definitely heroin. Not only was he a heroin addict, but the lines "Pulling out your poisoned fangs The venom never goes away Serpent swims free in my blood Dragons sleeping in my veins" reinforce that. Not only that, but it might not be about drugs. Notice the line "Love's a tidepool". He could be talking about a woman. |
