| Metallica – All Within My Hands Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| pssssst, Razormasticator, Rob didnt play bass on the album, Bob Rock did. | |
| Metallica – My World Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| The song is great, but I dont know what the fuck the meaning is. The lyrics are so jumbled and confusing, its hard to tack a meaning onto this one. Maybe someone can come up with it. | |
| Metallica – All Within My Hands Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| I think this song is about loving and caring about someone so much, that in ways, your actually smothering or are hurting them (acillatem is right, Im pretty sure its reffering to the departure of Jason) | |
| Metallica – Frantic Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| The song is great. Also, the song is about wanting to know when you will die, and if you did know what day or exact date you would die, would you regret wasting time or actions you've taken in the past, or would you make the most of it. | |
| Metallica – St. Anger Lyrics | 22 years ago |
|
I agree with you about the age factor Whiteout2. They have changed with age, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. This album is more than just ok. Its not a masterpiece or anything, but its awesome, the most unique album they have done. They may not be like they were in the golden days, but they have incorperated the heavyness of old. In my opinion, this song, "St. Anger", was the weakest one on the whole album. This song is about anger, and how it is viewed negetively when its realeased, when in fact, anger is a good thing to "set free" and get off of your chest when you vent it the right way. Another thing, the lyrics in a few places are wrong. |

| Metallica – Low Man's Lyric Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| i think what fingers seek my veins, is that this man is trying to kill himself but cutting himself open or something. So much could be read into this song, so its really hard to tell what the true meaning of it is. Anyways, its still a great song. | |
| Cold – Bleed Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| This song describes basically everything I want to do with my life. Because music is everything to me. I eat, sleep, and drink music. This song is beutifully done. Couldnt be much better, because its already perfect. Great song! | |
| KoЯn – Faget Lyrics | 22 years ago |
|
hey "ilikefood", thats your opinion. Im not gonna argue with or bash you, because thats just fucking childish, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but if you think that, then i dont think you understand this genre of music somewhat. Its not that hes trying to sell depression, his writing of his songs are his vent. He channells all the pain he went through in life all into his writing. Keep in mind, that KoRn had a sound no one had back in 1994 when their debut hit. Nothing else was like it. They are original, these bands that followed and tried to craft a sound like them just for money are the fakes. Hell, i write music, and i do the same thing Jon does, i vent with my writing. If you think they suck, then dont even post about any KoRn songs on this KoRn forum. Alot of bands are really shitty and just carbon copy's, take Limp Bizkit or any of those pop bitches for example, but KoRn isnt one of them man. KoRn is popular because they are real with what they do. That is my opinion. Moving on, this song is about what basically everyone on here is saying, getting picked on by assholes in highschool that were in the "in crowd" all because he was being himself and not following the trends. |

| Metallica – (Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| If you ask me, Cliff is one of the best bassits of all time as i have said before. No, i dont play bass, i play electric, but ive listened to enough music ever since ive been alive to know greatness with a certain instrument when i hear it. In my opinion, Cliff Burton, Les Claypool, and Flea are the nist talented bass monsters ive herd. But thats my opinion. | |
| Metallica – Seek & Destroy Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| Its a wonder more ppl havent posted about this song, because this is one of the defining songs of the earlier developement of the metal genre. Kill Em All was basically them experimenting with and developing their sound, and it helped shape music along with other metal artists that followed as we know it today. Yes, Ozzy was the father of this genre, but Metallica clearly set a new bar, and pushed it even farther. | |
| Metallica – To Live Is to Die Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| Words cannot express the depth of this instrumental. So much raw emotion was put into this, and the song just shines. If there was an award for best intrumental of all time, this would definately be one of the top contenders. Definately a work of musical genious! | |
| Metallica – The Call of Ktulu Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| I agree with TheChairFactory. This instrumental is absolutely amazing. I do not think it is best though. It's hard to say when you hear "Orion" and "To Live Is To Die" because everyone is great. But most noticible, you hear how much they grew in talent from Ride The Lightning to Master Of Puppets to And Justice For All and expanded themselves musically. But most definately, another great song! | |
| Metallica – Fuel Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| Fuel...the name speaks for the song. This song makes me wanna drive like a maniac and flip off and scream at cops while passing. Great piece of music! | |
| Metallica – No Leaf Clover Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| This song is a perfect definition of the term artistic. The song without the orchestra would be just fine, but with the element of classical touch to a hard song, it pushes it over the top and makes this a masterpiece. One of the best songs they have written, hands down. | |
| Metallica – We Did It Again (feat. Ja Rule and Swizz Beatz) Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| First off, get your facts straight. I didnt say they needed bigger houses. I said, and i quote "Not to mention, the bigger the house, cars, items, and everything they have, the more expensive the bills are." I didnt say they needed bigger houses. They already HAVE big houses from what they have WORKED FOR! To sustain what they have and keep it, they gotta pay alot, oh, and you also overlooked the fact that i mentioned money comes out of their pockets for the albums, the tours themselves, the ppl that work with them, the concerts, merchandise, and lots more. No they do not have more than enough money. What in your right minds makes you think they have oodles of fuckin money??? NO SUPERSTARS DO! Thats because of the facts that i stated and stated again. They provide alot of the money that goes into their albums and everything else they do. yes, the record company helps, but most of it comes out of the artists pocket. If an album doesnt sell what the record company's deadline for sales were, than THEY have to re-emburse them for it. Yea, of course, they do have money, but definately no where near as much as some ppl seem to think, because as i said before, no artist in any genre does. And keeping this in thought, how the hell would u feel if you lost all that you had, your record deal, your house, your oppurtunity to make music, and everything else because you didnt have the money to put into it, all becuase ppl dont want to buy the albums becuase they already have it and burnt it to a cd? I dont mind for one second paying for albums of artists that deserve it because they need that money to keep doing what they do. And no, im no rich muther fucker, trust me, if u think someone pumping gas for a living at age 17 does, than your definately wrong. Just thought id enlighten you about the buisness a bit, but obviously you dont wanna listen, you only see what you wanna see. Thats your opinion. Whether its wrong or not, i cant say, becuase everyone has a right to think what they want. But the fact is, they arent sellouts or greedy. Bands like limp bizkit where that shithead Fred Durst stirs up controversy about him and a pop singer bitch that had a fling with a song he wrote bout her to sell albums, thats a fuckin sellout. Before you make acusations again, dig deep for information and make sure you know what your talkin about. And believe me, i kno what im talking about. | |
| Metallica – We Did It Again (feat. Ja Rule and Swizz Beatz) Lyrics | 22 years ago |

First of all, to the ppl calling Metallica greedy, and calling them "sellouts", you couldnt be more fucking wrong. Who gives a fuck if they sued napster? Do you even realize how much money comes out of Metallica's pockets to make an album and pay their roadies and all of the workers that support them? Not to mention, the bigger the house, cars, items, and everything they have, the more expensive the bills are. Dont think for one second there money grubbing, cuz there not as rich as you think, because no artist is. And i agree, this fuckin song blows. They shoulda never agreed to give them some track cuts of riffs and vocals. But i gotta give em credit for experimenting. Ja Rule fuckin sucks, they shoulda did it with a real rap artist. They have balls. But the REAL side of metallica will be shown on the new album on june 10th. The riffs kick ass, so do the vocals, and the Kirk solo. If there was no fuckin rap element in this song, and it was strictly rock with different lyrics, it would be golden. |

| Metallica – (Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Cliff is one of the most talented bass players of all time. This solo is so unique, ive never herd any other bass player pull out a piece of genious like this. Yea, he may not be the greatest, but he's damn near close to it, and he's paved the way for many of today's great bassists. | |
| Metallica – Battery Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| Aww man, this song makes me wanna randomly punch the fuck outta ppl and teabag nuns in the face. Nothin but pure, unedited, ferocious animosity channeled through a song. Its awesome | |
| Metallica – Carpe Diem Baby Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| im with Kookkie on this one, its about living every day of your life to the fullest. And yes, James has cussed in songs before (Fuel, Whiplash, Am I Evil, So What, Damage Inc.) i know theres a few more, but im just naming some of them. I doubt the sexual inuendo, because Carpe Diem means "sieze the day" and i dont see how any of it is anything sexual. And whoever submited this fucked up the lyrics pretty bad. | |
| Metallica – Tuesday's Gone (Lynyrd Skynyrd cover) Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
whoever zps2 is is obviously a douchebag and doesnt listen to songs for meaning. He probably listens to shit like Limp Bizkit, Eminem, and Nelly like all those other drone zombie mainstream pop fucks. Metallica is one of the greatest bands of all time, one of the founding fathers of the genre of metal in this country (i say this country cuz it all started with the NWOBHM era in england), and every member is at the highest talent. Jason left....yes i know....but they have Rob Trujillo now. The Four Horsemen are back to kick some ass! And i cannot wait for the new album! So to all you assholes who wanna bash metallica when your not even educated on music, go fuck yourselves.... Anyways, this is one of the best cover tunes Metallica has done. And im taking a guess, but im sure the meaning is about a man searching for his desire, and himself, and hes taken to much shit up to that point that he's leaving his woman, with no hard feelings, to find himself once again, and when he does, he will be back. |
