It is important wheater the guy did or did not commit the crime. The man is going to die for commiting a crime he didn't commit. Hetfield said that he believes in capital punishment, and the song is more about the idea of being strapped to the electric chair even though you didn't commit the crime, and it is about, like others on the album "Ride the Lighting," are about not being able to escape a situation. |

What the FUCK is worng with you guyz?! Some of you are right, while others are way off! This song is sinply about drug addiction and how drugs become the "master" of someone. Of course, the song could represent the album cover, although I think it works better for "Disposable Heros." The album cover represents the goverment and the soldiers. The Government stands for the hands with strings which are connected to the white crosses on the ground. The hands are maybe in the sky because
in the figurative sense the government stands above everything, and The government controls/pulls the strings. The Soldiers stand for the white crosses which are used for the burial of deceased soldiers of war. At the cross on the left of the cover there is an army helmet and at the cross in middle of the cover there is an army
identification tag hanging on. The high grown grass could maybe hint at that the graves are old or that the nameless soldiers are falling into oblivion. Either way, I agree with both opinions. One of my favorite songs! |

This song was made becuase Sabbath's manager working with them on the "Paranoid" album told them they had three or four more minutes to complete the album. Then, Tony Iommi began to play the guitar riffs to "Paranoid" and Ozzy began sing the lyrics. Once everything fell into place, "Paranoid was born." The song is called "Paranoid" because Terence "Geezer" Butler was called paranoid even though he didn't know what the word meant. A quick song that became a classic. I fuckin love it! |

This song isn't about the Marvel Iron Man, but a completely different Iron Man that Sabbath made for this song. The song is about a man who travels through time into the future and sees the end of the world. When he goes back in time, he goes through the great magnetic field mentioned in the song, turning him into Iron Man. When he tries to tell the world what will happen, nobody cares becuase he can't talk. Being so enraged by this, he goes on a killing spree, creating the end of the world that he foresaw. This song isn't about suicide, but the dangers of alcohol, like the song "Alcohol Demon." Also, THERE ARE NO SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES. As for the teenagers that killed themselves, Ozzy was accused because the teenagers were listening to "Suicide Solution" when they were found dead. Like what Ozzy said: "I swear on mu kid's life I never said get the fucking gun." A great song though. |

I can't believe nobody posted anything! This is one hell of a song! Especially with Zakk Wylde on gutiar! Anyways, this song is about a preacher named Jimmy Sawggart who put Ozzy down until he fell from glory when he was caught with a prostitute, meaning the parts "miracle man got busted." Also, a part of the lyrics on this page doesn't include "Now Jimmy he got busted, with his pants down." That part of the song is just Jimmy gettiing caught with the prostitute. Anyways, this is an Ozzy classic. A great song. |

This is an Ozzy classic! A great song! I heard that Ozzy visited a sick fan, but the dude couldn't speak. So instead, he wrote on a peice of paper what is now the lyrics to Crazy Train. The song is mostly about forgetting about war and turn to peace, and the "mental wounds not healing" part is the fan's mental pain, "living witn something he doesn't want to share." |
