im suprised that no one else has written anything about this song. the only reason i signed up is so that i could write what this song means to me. at first i thought that the song meant that the writer works his way up in life and then makes bad choices in some way and falls back down, and this continues. but after listening to it a little more, i think it could do with shit going wrong in life. i think the writter uses 'Northern winds' and 'fevers could flare up' as small examples of all the shit that can go wrong in life. i think it could be a mixture of the two. if anyone wants to email me about it ...
