Man, this song is amazing. I'm just getting into Frank, so I'm constantly being amazed. Let me tell you this fellas...if you want girls, Frank's the guy to go to. This song is just so thoughtful. Its the little things about the girl that gets him. And even though change is coming, and most likely they wont be together forever...the time they share will forever be remembered. Awesome idea, awesome song, awesome artist. J |

what i love so much about this song is its message. i think dave's talking about conformity, "i wont change my ways to please you, or appease you." and i absolutely love the line, "if at all god looks on us, its with a mischievous grin." i know thats how i feel sometimes. and i agree that dave's trying to talk to his listeners aren't really living, but instead living for others, and for material things. "forget about the notion that our emotions can be kept at bay....we are innocent instead." to me its kind of a thing against not living for fear of what others may think, or even what religion tells us. i'm rambling. i just think dave's a very philosophical person. and can address very deep and profound aspects of religion in his music. and he makes it entertaining. in conclusion, this song rocks. J |
