while i believe this song does deal with the world in general being uncvilized i think it has another meaning as well. when i first heard i had the 'dancing to the sound of sirens' stuck in my head. that's my favorite line and leads me to think this song might also be about the darker side of clubbing and dancing at goth clubs. everytim i hear this song i get that picture in my mind being at a club and listening to the industrial music and sirens and lights going off. makes me want to dance and be a goth :) |
