I guess when I heard it, I first thought of them recording their music and such lol, but that's so lame. But in general I see it as meaning something that started out and is meant to be this fun great thing, but in time, it became a chore and lost it's meaning. Beautiful song. Yippe. |

Ah, well the song reminds me of like when ugh everything in the world seems to be insane. When friends are asking you this and that, and being sad, and your parents want more from you, and your just looking for real love and start getting extremely critical and thinking way to hard about everything in life. I love the ending. (Things always feel out of my hands and make me go crazy) ...I love all of his songs. They always put me in a sad mood though. Always. But hey, tour to NY damnit. |

This has been my favorite dash song since forever and the first 2 times I saw him, he didn't play it and I was bummed. I don't count that shit of it he threw into Hands Down extended. I wasn't into that. But he played it the 3rd time I saw him, and I was dissapointed. I felt like a lot of the emotion was lost, and whatever I did hear, was forced. Almost as if he's recovered from whatever made him hurt. Whatever, I know no one cares. Just yea. Anyways, it's an awesome song that I relate to often. |

Hey..I posted here before (broken and bruised) but I'm a jackass and forgot my password and lied about my email adress when I made it. But anyways, has anyone seen the video for this on fuse? It's kinda...lame. I don't know. I guess cuz the first time I heard the song, it was live....so now when I listen to it, it's just got all that emotion...and when I saw the video...it just...doesn't compare. Oh well. Not like my opinion matters. |

Unless there is some deeper meaning, I feel like this song is about the kind of day when you just feel crappy...and really really wierded out like your going to die...death day or whatever. lol I feel like I'm just stating the obvious. I really really like the last line, about not taking things so seriously. And I like how it's a *wish*..because honestly, people like myself can't just stop taking things seriously. It's just, a damn part of me. The music in the song is pretty sweet too....but I just really like it lyrically.... |

This song kicks ass and I agree..the video is awesome. I want one of those home boy monkey suits so bad for my friends mardi gras party. Ahh lol...this song just makes ya so happy and you gotta do that little dance they do in the video at the "you and me baby...". lol just like everyone else..i can remember singing this when i was like 11 at recess..dancing on the soccer field with my wierd ass friends...ahh what happend to good the times? :o( beh. |
