this is one of my favorite songs by blind melon... when he refers back to being a child its like saying he misses the innocense of being a child and only being high can bring him back to that world... and he didnt have any regrets for any of the things that hes done adn he wishes people wouldnt judge him for what he has done and maybe then they could see what he means... i listen to this song everytime i get angry with someone...it helps me remember not to care what others think... i think what shannon was trying to say was to live your life the way you want to and dont give a fuck what anyone else says... your time is limited so make the best of it and make each day worthwhile... and when times get hard...dont get hung up about it... but i know we cant all stay here forever so im gonna write my words on the face of today RIP |
