I really don't think this song has a lot to do with Community, as great as the show is. Pretty sure the last line is referring to a show called Freaks & Geeks which was cancelled. Excellent show, BTW.
The other thing I'd say is I think the line "My clique make that dinero so it's time to meet the Fockers" is, in my thoughts, not just about "dinero." Robert DeNiro (sounds like "dinero") plays the father character in the series of films about the Fockers (Meet the Parents / Meet the Fockers / etc.). |

Hoitsmith, you totally explained this song to me! That's really exciting to me, I'm serious. And it makes sense, since they have other literary references in their work. (Rose for Emily being a particularly obvious one.) The song's become a lot sweeter to me now. |

I can't believe no one's commented on this. This song is absolutely amazing - It's about not knowing what you're doing but going forward anyway. I seem to recall reading an interview where the band said it was about being on tour, but I can't remember exactly. But either way, it's such a good song. |

I'm going to be one of those cheesy people who says "ohmigod this song is about me." I think that the song is about being alive but being too scared to really be more than what you are, too scared to go forward. Being afraid of yourself, and thereby being afraid of everything. It's a sad way to live, really. |

I think it's "You tell me I'm a real man and try to look impressed." ^_^ I could be wrong though. This is easily one of the cutest love songs I've ever heard... Very poppy but not annoying. It seems to be the kind of song about a relationship that's been around for a while and is just sort of... comfortable. Which really seems to be the best kind. |
