this song kind of embodies the way i deal with whatever problems i might have as i am not one to talk about it but i will try really hard to fix them on my own and the fact that others see signs that i have a problem ("coughing up a lung" or "holding a knife") i will never admit it until things get worse.
when things get worse, i come to the realization that i am not as alone in this as i think i am as people have asked me what is wrong but i have chosen instead to not "be found."
then, a little more, i try to communicate in a way that lets others have more details of what is going on because whether i feel embarrassed or alone that i am in a situation no one else could help with, i realize that no one is probably completely happy but we are all just trying to get there ("going to the same place") or if people are happy they can still probably help as they can remember what it was like when they where further back "in line."
finally, whether others end up giving a little help ("one hand") or a lot of help ("two hands") it will definitely better than trying to do it all by myself. |

For me.. this song is about a misguided friend i had that often times presuaded me to sin which compromised my relationship with God... thus a Godstopper. |
