Does anyone notice that blink did this same shit 10 years ago? Another Pop Punk band, I can speak from my past, they arent even punk. Of course we can get into that bullshit too, I really dont feel like having a more punk than you discussion because I am not punk. I dont wear a fucking exploited shirt, and a misfits patch and struggle with my identity. I know who I am and have been around the block. I am telling you with growing up listening to REAL PUNK legends, like Black Flag, The Misfits, and so on. There are very few Real punk bands anymore. AFI used to be one, so did Blink. But it gets old hearing stupid songs about high school sung by a guy who is 30 yrs old. GIve me a fucking break. |

Tatu, is just another processed euro-pop band, they get popular off looks, antics and mediocre music. Nothing to write home about. I dont have a problem with the poetry of rap and what not, but I do have a problem with rappers who ONCE they make it big, they produce trash. Very few stay true to the roots. Not that they were good in the first place but all the rappers involved with No Limit was crap, yes mystikal and master p and all that shit. So many stray from what made them popular and basically screw themselves. My personal favorites that I feel stayed pretty true are; Method Man, Redman, Wu-Tang, Dmx, Tupac. Thats all I can think of really. As far as genuine hip-hop goes. |

I think it has alot to do with the Vietnam war, the black heart, the soldiers, returning home, and seeing everything they fought for is pointless and unrecognize and now they are shunned. So they fall into a deep depression because they thought they were doing the right thing and now they are hated for it. So they have no interest in anything and cant bear to be exposed to society because of their own insecurities. |

The best part of evanescence is how haunting her voice is, not a track goes by that her voice doesnt give me goosbumbs. I can hear the same song over and over and every time, it just hits the spot. If she ever breaks free of her band, I feel that she has a voice that has the potential to be on par with Sarah Maclachlan and Sarah Brightman. |
