Dude,who cares if people say offensive crap.Its just words from ignorant people (not rude people,but people who are misinformed.)Blink 182 is obviously the best,since they can come out with a song about my species and peolple don't think they are on drugs,and they can make the song sound like a normal song. And just because Scott is not in the band, it doesn't mean that they now suck. Bands change members all the time.Big deal.Besides,it isn't just Mark and Tom's fault.If Scott was an alcoholic,the best thing for the band was to let him go.If Scott needed to go to college,he needed to go.Whatever.And who the hell cares ifBlink is now mainstream,their stuff didn't change,only the amount of fans they had.Anyway, this song,obviously about aliens, is really cool. Aliens are cool.They are way better that humans,mostly because of their intelligence and dead sexi looks.Are we sure Tom isn't at least part alien,?He has to be the sexiest man on planet earth. |

I think this song is definetly about lsd.The lyrics are too weird.I could understand that people nowadays write lyrics that are way wacked out without actually experiencing a situation like that,because I myself write weird crap and have never taken drugs.But I have been brought up in a society that has weird stuff like that in public.Back in that era,you normally didn't hear that.So you would definetly have to experience it.
But besides it being about drugs,I have another theory about it. I think the girl with kaleidescope eyes is a drug dealer of some sort.Maybe shes a friend that they got lsd from,or just an acquaintance.The song talks about how he first sees her.Then later on as he drifts down the river,or maybe he drifts in and out of conscienceness?(I don't know what exactly takes place while using lsd),he sees her again.He get more acid from her.Then the taxis,police or friends trying to get him to stop,come and takes him away.When he is at the train station,he notices her again.And them he starts the chorus again,kinda taking you back to lsd.Just a theory.But I love this song.The imagery is incredible,it would be like a dream world.And the way the song is sung goes hand in hand with the lyrics.The music adds to the effect,and it kind of reminds me of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. |
