Well the obvious ofcourse is that "what goes and comes around" but certain evidence supports that this song could have some sort of reference to crop circles.This was just an out side thought i had one day while listening to it."Existential carousel " -maybe a ufo."I saw you standing in my headlights (blink blink blink)" -could be the lights on the ufo."I knew the walls were coming down And the stones that fell were aiming away from me"-some people think stone henge was created by aliens.Anyway those were just some random dumbass thoughts i came up with.Have fun. |

When i met Brandon at one of their concerts we talked about this song.The idea behind this song is the holographic theory which states that the universe has holographic properties and could be considered a hologram.A holographic film can be broken, but every piece will still contain all of the information to put together the complete image.When brandon says "every piece contains a map of it all" this is what he is refering to.In saying "unlearn me" brandon is trying to forget what he knows so he can truly see what is really there.He has refered to "unlearning" on make yourself in out from under (resist, unlearn, defy) where he wants to forget what he knows so he can "see the sky".This is the same principle.Brandon understands that there is a broader horizon beyond the media and bright lights and is obviously striving to reach that plane of truth.He is outside of the majority, thus a crow left of the murder.It is a great life lesson that is seldom taught.Themosquitogod has a great point with the buddhist belief system.i'm sure it is all interconnected. If anyone wants to learn more about the holographic theory i recommend buying The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot.You can find it on amazon.com. | lets add a new aspect...nobody kill me for saying this but...vampire sex.I'm not sure but the meaning seems to stick out as "VAMPIRE VAMPIRE VAMPIRE", but maybe it is a relationship between a vampire and their doner.sometimes the doner can get very attached to their vampire and fall in love with them.Maybe the doner is tempting the vampire in a simple trade of"you give me the vamp sex and you get the blood".Maybe that is the story, a girl wants to be a vampire's mistress and so she tempts him.He only falls into it for the blood, he really cares nothing about her but it is a mutual relationship and she is terribly addicted to his bite.I might be stupid but it is just an interpretation. | |

| When Trent says "pig", it makes me think of someone sexually crazed trapping a person in a corner and telling them how they are about to rape them. You could easily replace pig with bitch and probably get the same meaning. I also agree with the remarks toward God that some of you have said it means to you. There are so many feelings you can get from this song(anger, lust, hate, regret, depression,sympathy)that it could be about a confused person on the edge of suicide writing to God about how much they hate him and what he has done to them. This is a very meaningful song from the genius of trent. | |

I interpreted that since a hat is roughly circular, and a cirlce is a never ending perfection, Brian's mind is telling us about people who are in a never ending drug dream world that provides them glamour and everything they want, but they cannot get out. Once they are so far into the magnificent world of drugs, they no longer control the world, the world controls them, or "...the hat is wearing me..." so to speak. On the other hand he could be speaking about the antichrist. Let me explain:Brian talks a lot about the antichrist in some songs as if he wants to be the one to become this man. His hat could be his halo that he wears as a disguise to draw people in. I got this from "...rabbits's just a monkey in disguise...". both of these interpretations are just the meanings i got from the song, you could get something totally different. I am just here to expand the horizon...aren't we all? |
