+- the thing about this song that does it for me is the fact that you will never hear this song played live at a Trio concert... its too fast for them to play. I read an interview with Dan (bassest) a while ago and the person giving the interview asked about why this song never shows up on setlists for thier live show and his comment was that they are normally too drunk at thier shows to sucessfully pull this song off and rather than look stupid trying to play it they just never do...Look it up if you dont believe me. It kinda makes me sad though, because this song would fucking OWN at a live show -+ |

+- Sorry Cellophane Sex but this isnt an Alkaline Trio song (well, at least not written by them anyway). This is a Misfits song, its taken off the Halloween "7 given out at the Halloween show at the Metro in 2003, along with this song there is a GREAT cover of the Misfits song Halloween. This still is a great song, and is still written by a lyrical genius, however that genius isnt Skiba, in this case is Danzig. -+ |

its like this Sepulchrave, if you cant get into this Trio stuff, go get your hands on Maybe Ill Catch Fire or Goddamnit! and if your still talking shit, well then, fuck yourself. I will admit, this new Trio CD is WAY overproduced compaired to any of their other stuff (minus Good Mourning, which was the paving stone of Trio's "new - produced" sound) but with Good Mourning we Trio fans saw this coming, and thankfully although the sound might be a little more crisp, and sadly i cant scream along out of tune as much as i could with the older Trio stuff, but it doesnt matter, because this cd still fucking rocks your god damn socks off! Alas, adue Sepulchrave, and to you a big fuck you. |
