I think it is about a heroin addiction. The snakebite entering the vein meaning the needle injecting the heroin. And he doesnt wanna be there, but the addiction has him coming back and he doesnt even know why. I believe he is wanting to kill himself rather than keep using, and the title voodoo is that heroin is like some kind of evil magic or something. That is my take on it. |

I think the first half of the song is from the perspective of drugs and alcohol, singing out to everyone to try them.
The second half is after the drugs have worn their course and he knows hes trapped within the walls he built around himself w\ drug, alcohol, and this messed up world. And it seems no one will help him.

Your right on man!! They are probably watching us right now. But i believe it is about how currupt everything is, and that as soon as we are born, we become part of this "machine" and just like the song says, they tell us what to dream, and they tell us they know where we have been. And i believe very strongly, that the only people that understand what is truley going on, are people that have lost their minds. It seems to me that they know something we dont, and the "machine" shut them down.
