To me the song is about how you work and work and work and thats all you do your whole life just for money. i think the song tries to relate everything (sex, violence) to money. the song i think tried to depict alot of bad things in the world and the singer asks god for help, to "clense his mind" and he wants to change. not be run by money. it also vaguely mentions everything in life being in vain. an example is: Trying to make ends meet, try to find somebody then you die. |

I think this might be about how he wants his life to be going but he doesnt have enough time to choose. He might think that he is on a bad path on life, like hes a disease and is trying to correct it by being the cure. I heard this first on LoveLine as the show ended. I was about to fall asleep and it came on and my eyes just shot open and i was wide awake, litterally. An AMAZING song. I wish the band members could come here and see what we think. |

Well... I think this song is about being a burden to your g\f. It kinda describes right now to me... a girl i really like said she likes me... then didnt... then she did and she thinks she loves me after sumthing that happened. i was always there for her and would have given up the world for this girl but all she did was keep saying she likes this other guy i know and me. finally i find out that he likes her back... i was left in the dust |

I can relate to this song. I am 13 and I was completely into this one girl. I told her and she lead me on and on and only treated me like crap. Making me feel bad, ignoring me. I still worshipped the ground she walked on. And the day I am writing this, listening to the song, she just completely blew me off. She said she didn't like me anymore, or at all for that matter and I came to find all of my friends mad at me and on her side. I thought I had it going pretty good. I ignored the hints of this wasnt real and just kept getting more infatuated with her. A painful lesson... |
