| Well to stratin teh whole radio carbon dating thing out, some people a few years ago decided to see just how accurate it was so they took the calf bone out of a stillborn calf and let it dry and then gave it to a scientific institute for radiocrabon dating. They scientist gave anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000 years old and the calf bone was only 30 days old. so how can we be so sure that those bones are of the apropriate date when the eact same scientist gave a 30 day old calf bone the age of 10,000 years? | |

What your saying about when the books where written is partially true, at least concerning Christianity. The new testament was written during the span of Jesus's life or not anymore than 30 years after his death. Also Jesus's existance was not only recorded in the bible but also by kings of that age. Also many of his miricales were recorded by people otehr than the followers so in my mind that is enough to believe. However, to each man his own. As for science if you look down into it a lot of it ties in with Christianity and geuss which theory came about first. I am in no means saying anyone just took an idea out of the bible and changed it and called it their own but i am saying a lot of it fits in so tightly with Christianity that they almost coinside with each other. | Before i even post this i want to apologize for the much earlier post because i was a bit on the cruel side in it and im really sorry if it offended anyone. Why apologize? Cause i finally understood what this song meant. Its not bagging on religion its more or less telling how religious people become materalistic about God and use their religion to persecute and exploit people. I pondered on this during tennis and I realized that by posting that earlier comment i did nothing more than make that statement true. Yeah i think your interpritation is really good. With all thats going on today in the world involving religion and the catholic church and whatnot this song really should speak to everyone, Muslim, Jew, Christian, and Buddist alike. If this is the best our religions combined can show the world then no wonder people cant believe in religion. This is not the place to begin an arugement or stir up trouble of any kind but.........if you would just go through and read the last post you would probably see i was mearly getting my point acrosst. However i do apologize if anyone got seriously offended. I would like to state that while i SOUNDED mean i meant it in a way that everyone could laugh at. I agree it does come down to faith. However, if there is no God then where did we come from or better yet, where did the matter that exploded into the universe come from? Also let me correct you, "i said If you think we just came from formless matter without the help of a creator you need to seek serious professional help." No where in there do i see myself saying if you dont believe in God you should call a pysciatrist, or however you spell it. Nither did i say that God created beatiful things only cause from the Christian point of veiw, i say Christian because i dont know what other religions say about this topic, God created all things good or bad. Also, does giving someone advice make me close minded, i mean i wasnt forcing anything on anyone. Man i love how people who try and put down religion work themselves into corners. mourninghasbroken, money grubbers and theives you say? I find it odd how one news broadcast can set the world ablaze with people that think all the preists steal from their churches. this entire cd has rocked me none stop since my friend got it for me. i plan on joining the carraba gleason arguement but not until i do what this site is made for and give the meaning to the songs unlike everyone else. This song is absolutely incredible to me someone is telling someone else how much they care about them. The other person hust doesnt understand no matter how much show it to them. Now on to the fun part. Carraba is right where he needs to be i and everyone else loves him as dashboard and jason is sooooooo awesome in FSF. As for the whole once bands get on mtv they are crap thing...you can suck me off because underoath is trying to get on mtv and for those of you who listen to underoath know they of all people shouldnt be on there with ludicris.
