yeah, there are a couple of mistakes in the lyrics. first line is definately "She seems dressed in all the rings" the line argued about is "my dahlia, bathed in possession" also its "Fixed and crazy-Aphid attraction" not "Vixen crazy, Athen Attraction" and "carve my name in my face-to recognize; such a pheromone cult to terrorize" also, read jambomdaman's correction above. I kinda like jambomdaman's idea for this song... |

my favorite deftones song ever. my favorite song ever. period. just an amazing effect on me whenever i hear it. im up for anything when i hear this song, it just sends shivers down my spine. it can put me in a trance like nothing ive ever listen to before can. god, i dont even know how to describe it, its just-perfection ps. i tried what Arianrhod said about listening to this song in the dark. man, devistatingly peaceful effect on me. |

| i dont know, mayeb its just my girlfriend talkin through me here (shes envirnomentally inclined) but i see this as mankind turning on mother nature, and in doin so, the waves and gold lights have been depleting, ie. the natural envirnoment and all the beauty of nature is diminishing because we have turned on mother nature, so she has left us to our own devices. maybe not, shrug... | |

| hmm, im not sure about this one. for some reason i get a picture of chino spreading his arms wide open, inviting something evil in. whatever it is, its always been that way and he excepts that it always will. its almost like he doesnt care if they have done something evil, he still loves them or atleast wants them to "come and take (him) home" if they are willing to commit to him then he is willing to take them in. but im really not sure, thats just the picture i get... | |

best song on the album and to elmo- i think that its possible that the crowd is goin wild because of joy. the joy that there side has dealt a blow to those they deem as "inferior." many times on tv you see crowds cheering after a suicide bombing has occured... |

| I agree with the ocean/risk interprtation. anyone else realize that the southern tip of both south america and africa are named the cape of good hope and cape horn? both having cape in their name. some famous explorers made a name for themselves by risking sailing around each (magellan being one of them). and often tragedy resulted in some of these voyages... | |
